Timber Kelly is far from the meaning of her name “Fallen Tree”. This girl rises out of turmoil and chaos to a determination and vision for her life that are greater because her God is the Great I Am!!  At the young age of 16, Timber Ann suffered a crushing eye injury while Goat Tying at the State Finals High School Rodeo.  After having been

told the damage was irreparable and permanent peripheral blindness, Timber’s faith and God’s miraculous works restored what was lost.  In God’s ever faithful ways, He rewards one hundred-fold to those who have unwavering faith.

 

From the ashes, Timber has risen and taken her dreams and goals to a higher level.  After qualifying for the 2017 National High School Rodeo Finals in goat tying, Timber competed and achieved a top 10 finalist position at the International Youth Finals Rodeo and a 5th place finish in the 2nd Go Round of the NHSRA Finals Rodeo.  She is now competing on the Collegiate Level at Eastern New Mexico University while working towards a degree in Veterinary Medicine. 

 

While God doesn’t promise an easy life, He does promise everlasting love.  Timber embraces this love and has a passion of living life with her eyes wide open to make sure she doesn’t miss any opportunities that God has instore for her.
